Where does Dhawan stand when it comes to the Sri Lanka series? It will be interesting to see whether Ishaan Kishan is selected or not. Shubman Gill has done consistently well. If Rohit Sharma makes a comeback, then someone will have to be dropped. This name can be of Shikhar Dhawan. This could be a sad end to an illustrious career. The new selectors have many big questions.
Karthik further said that if Shubman Gill had been selected for the ODI series against Bangladesh, he would have replaced Rohit. Karthik also praised Ishaan for making good use of the opportunity. he adds –
Interestingly, if Shubman Gill was a part of the squad, he would have opened instead of Rohit, as he has been doing since the past. Ishaan Kishan took great advantage of the opportunity. Shikhar Dhawan’s problems have increased due to this.
